We got the name from my great, great Grandma. Her name is Ann Ellese Smoots, and we really wanted to call our "baby girl" Ellie so we thought it was a good choice. Apologize and thanks to those in the family that have this name already. It is just to cute, hope you don't mind sharing.
Anything pink in the house Conway has conceded is Elle's. It does not stop him from durability testing any of the new pieces and crafts though, and he may want to keep using them after Elle gets here in October. What only 4 weeks away!
Let the crafting begin:
*My amazingly talented Aunt Cheryl designed and created some new pink bumper pads and crib skirt. We love her! Thanks a million times Aunt Cheryl, you are awesome.
* We recovered a foot stool and made a pillow to revamp the new rocker I got. The quilt is one Aunt Cheryl also made, before we knew Conway was a boy. His is blue, he will keep his he says.
*Britton designed and made a wooden changing table and cradle .
*I claimed an old bulletin board of Danielle's to collect Elle's bows on. No picture: needs more bows. ;)
* Another cute craft Britton made for me, "A Family Ruler" Yep, those are Conway's marks, over 3ft tall. Rumor is that means he will be over 6ft when he is done growing. He has his Daddy's genes.
Oh and did you remember me telling you the pool was closing, Conway found a solution to the problem today.
