Lambson Life

Just enjoying life.

This month Conway has been doing great with school. Reeces is his favorite part but the rest is not bad either. He does not enjoy handwriting  homework but is getting better.

Elle and Wyatt are having fun at home and have a regular play dates to keep busy with.

Wyatt is still just growing. Dr. Appointment  Monday so we will be able to update his stats then.

Went to AZ this month and loved being with family. Wyatt got to meet some more of his great grandparents, and other cousins. My little cousin B got married which  I am still having trouble with. They (the bubbas, including Cooper) are still just bubbas. But in reality they are awesome Young MEN!

Britton ran a Ragnar trail race and loved it. His team placed first. He ran through the mud and rain but can not wait to do it next year. :)

Becoming a school family

Conway goes to school! My baby is a kindergartener. It is such a monemental event they go from being in our care 24 hours 7 days a week to an independent and capable little person starting their own path.

I am so excited for him and the great experiences as well as the not so great experiences he is going to learn and grow from. It is such an amazing thing. He loved his first day. Said it was great but in true Conway fashion did not want to go into to many details. Said he met a new friend but could not remember his name, and he can't wait to go back tomorrow. I said what about next week? He said that sounded great too. He can't wait to take his lunch box and go a full day.

Elle and I are both having a reality check tonight. Oh wait we have to do it again tomorrow and next week? And then I will have to get a lunch packed too! If I try to be as kind as my mom I could be packing lunches for the next 25 years! Oh man.

Pioneer weekend

We got to go to Ramah for Pioneer day celebrations. It was Wyatt's first over night  trip and he did really well. We loved spending  time with our Lambson family and thinking about pioneers.

Britton rode in the parade with his Dad and brothers. We sat on the side  and got lots of candy. After we got some yummy snacks from the fair booths. Conway and Elle got new bracelets. My favorite was seeing some of our old college friends from Ramah home for the holiday too! Some awesome people doing awesome things with their little families.

Conway and Elle loved riding Grandpa's four wheeler and would request rides all day long.

It was a short trip but very sweet. We don't have anything else on the calendar until September now. Crazy! For our usual get out of town life style.

Last day of summer

Our last day of summer. And a special summer at that. We got a new baby and it was our last summer of no school kids. We are officially a school family know with our kindergartener Conway. I may be a complete wreck tomorrow. It is just such a monemental day. It starts his educational career for the next 20 years! It is just so awesome how can I not cry. Right? Not to mention my baby is grown no more denying it.
Elle and I made zucchini cake. She is my big helper and excited for the quality time we will get together starting soon.

Our garden has been great this year. Yummy green beans, sqaush, zucchini, peppers, first eggplant. Corn and pumpkins too! Canned 14 quarts of green beans and have loved eating everything else fresh.

Today they repaved our road. It was awesome to watch the construction trucks. We all sat on the blanket and watched. Conway was the most faithful staying from start to finish of the whole street. A fun final day at home for him

Wyatt has found his hands and is getting stronger holding up his own head. He loves to smile and Brother and Sister and we have even heard a couple of giggles here and there.

We have loved the pool and our summer days. So long until we jump in again.

He is my big little guy.

brother and sister were/are taller for their age. But not the 90%!

Hair is still here have not buzzed him yet. Bald spot is coming in the back though so soon. Good bye side burns.

Great eater and sleeps 6+ hours most nights.

We can not remember life before Wyatt. It is amazing the love. I don't  know why I am always surprised by it but I think of course I have him he is mine forever. I am so grateful for my eternal family. The plan is beautiful!

Wyatt's Blessing and July 4th weekend

We had a great time celebrating America and family.
It was pretty neat to have a July 4th baby blessing like we did when Conway was a newborn. Lots of family were able to come and play with us for our small town festivities

Parade prep the night before
The Parade!
Our Lambson cousins came and Meme got them all matching outfits.  We went to the pool, watched movies, ate yummy bbq, and watched the Fireworks from Overlook.

The Christensens came from Texas and the Kodras made it from Washington. Everyone flew in for a long weekend.
Usual Firework fun in the backyard.

Fab Five

Our summer so far. Went to the nature center in Los Alamos today. It was awesome and we can not wait to go again. Getting to the pool as much as we can. It has been a little more difficult this season with a newborn and recovering from labor. But when we do get to go Conway and Elle love it. Elle will slide all day long if you let her. She doesn't care if you are there to catch her not especially if she is wearing a life jacket and pops back up all by herself.

Wyatt is a great addition  to our family. He is the fab part for sure. Sleeps great and with his extra pounds already seems to go for longer stretches which has been really nice. Especially  at night when I get to sleep 4 + hours straight. It really does miracles for this Mama.
He did not like his first couple baths. It was my fault I tried to bathe him at the same time as the other kids in his own little mini tub but the chaos in the bathroom was not comforting to him in the least. So we had a peaceful alone time bath this week which he enjoyed a lot more.
He still has dark gray eyes and his hair is thinning out. So we will just have to wait and see what happens there.

Getting excited to see family next week for the holiday and Wyatt's baby blessing.
