Garth Brooks

Garth Brookes came to the PAN AM in Las Cruces, our old stomping grounds April 8-11th.
Lacey and Chandler called and invited us to meet them there since it was in the middle for both of us. We were a little late in agreeing so by the time we tried to get a hotel there were not a lot of options but we decided we could make anything work for one night. We also managed to talk our parents into going with us! Garth Brooks had 5 concerts that weekend to meet all of the demand. which worked out great for us so we could divide and split the kid duty. The Johns, Sterling and Ariel, Britton and I went to the afternoon show. It was so fun! I can't believe the energy level Garth performs at, I may not know all of his songs but hearing Britton and Chandler sing every word was really fun.

Then after figuring out our hotel rooms and finding enough beds for everyone the grandparents got a turn to go to the evening concert. They had a great time and had worn out the kids for us taking them to the Farm and Ranch museum in the afternoon.

We got green chili cheeseburgers and zeebs frozen ice for dinner. and were back on the road the next morning right after breakfast. It was a crazy fast trip, only being in town for 20 hours. But totally worth it for Garth, love him, I am a huge fan now! ;)

Spring Break

While we were in WY Britton, had to work, but the day he had off he made the boys a bunk bed, from recycled wood, he had help our friends take down some faux  beams in their house and they let us have the pieces.

I cried the first night we got home and the crib was already in the shed, Wyatt and Conway LOVED the bunkbeds and never had a problem transitioning into them. They love that they basically have an instant fort whenever they want. Throw a few blankets or attach a rope and they are in heaven.

One day we did a jewelry craft made our own beads and jewelry. The big kids did great and had fun.
Also made it to the aquatic center one day and had a good time swimming excited for the pool this summer.

For not be able to travel for spring break we sure did fill up our week with fun things and it was so fun just to be together.

Babies!

We have two new cousins!

Seth and Ashlee had their baby boy Ammon end of January

and then 2 days later Westley and Stasia had their baby girl Emeila.

we loved them so much! Wyatt loved holding his babies, and was a great big cousin.

Their blessings were each so special, and we are so grateful we could be there.

Playing in the sunshine in Ramah, Britton started cleaning out the basement, to make it more functional for his parents.

The next weekend we went to Wyoming, Grandma and Grandpa drove us and we got to meet Emie! We stayed at a renovated school hosue that was really fun, the sheep farm near by and the easter egg hunt were a big hit!

Valentine Love

Love breakfast

We had a preschool party, pretending to be little cupids blowing love darts with straws and qtips

Conway and I wanted to make slime for his classmates. It was green glow in the dark valenslime, it was a big hit! Conway wrote all of his classmates names on the jars, Mom wrote the valentine message and Wyatt and Elle helped us both make the slime. The kitchen was pretty destroyed making 30 jars of slime!

Wyatt wearing his Uncle Westley's outfit. :) Love this little boy

Home happenings and Staycation

The kids love playing together, and we can not wait for Conway to get home from school each day. They all love jumping and will spend sometime on the tramp each day.

Elle found some gems, she loves Mama's wedding veil, we are saving that for her wedding day. And she found my favorite outfit when i was her age! I loved the mini skirt, and I have a photo of me jumping on my Grandla Christensen's trampoline.

Happy Boy, this little guy is a snuggle bug and his love is so special!

February, Britton had some work in Albuquerque and got a hotel, and Conway had a few days off school. So we had a great staycation, went to the Natural History Museum, dinners with Nana, swimming at the pool, shopping.

We got a free pass from the library for the museum. It was so awesome and a great experience for everyone

in the kid center they let the turtle crush out for a little exercise. My kids LOVED it!

getting 3 kids to look and smile at the same time, difficult!

We hope you are are all doing well! We love you so much!
