H&C Wedding!

October is such a  great

month! So many special birthday's and now to top it off a Wedding!
Cooper and Hannah chose to get married during the fall break, in Utah at the Draper temple!
We drove up half way on Wednesday then Thursday made it the rest of the way meeting Christensen and Kodras at a rental house Mom and Dad had gotten for the weekend.
That night I made all my siblings go to dinner with me, while Mom and Dad kept all 9 kiddos. So grateful for these amazing people I get to call family. The laughs are always so great.
The next day was WEDDING DAY. We got to meet up with family all through out the day. The girls all got dressed in the super  adorable matching dresses we found for them and the boys all looked so dapper in the vests. The temple was beautiful, Aunt Maressa met us at there and kept an eye on all the kids during the sealing. A lovely family  dinner with olive garden at the Mclees's church, showed the slide show and played the classic shoe game with the bride and groom.
Saturday morning we celebrated Reese turning 3! And got to go to scheels before heading to the reception.
I think the photo booth van  was the highlight for the kids and we got our groove on the dance floor.
After all the parties we got to bring the Kodras minus Uncle Anton home to New Mexico for the whole week, for the NM open house the next weekend.
The last Christensen wedding we went all out. Lights and vines on the ceiling and heart branded logs with an amazing display of to die for food.
Poor Elle came down with an abscess tooth infection. Her little cheek starting swelling Saturday morning until it was so painful, our sweet dentist hurried home from a soccer game to do a emergency tooth pull. She was pretty miserable and we let her skip out on most of the party but she started feeling much better as the medicine kicked in and cleared the rest of the infection.

The party was so fun and we loved getting to celebrate such a great couple in Cooper and Hannah, they are going to have so much fun together. So excited for the amazing adventures ahead for them together.

Our Kindergarten is 6

Ellese (formerly known as Elle) had a Birthday!
She started kinder and asked to go by Ellese at school, at home we still use Elle but every where else she is now Ellese.

Elle turned six and got to celebrate at school and had a brownie cake with family at home.

They sang happy birthday to her in pod and she got to wear a crown at school all day.
She got some new clothes, much needed and headband so she can leave her hair down for school some days.
She is such a specail girl, so full of spunk and as smart as the come. She loves her brothers and is really so patient with them and the rest of us. She loves when Grandma paints her nails and she is always willing to snuggle with whomever needs a little love.  She is loving Kindergarten and is doing well and trying hard things.

Tucson No Baby

We wanted to go and help Aunt Katelyn in her final week or pregnancy with baby Elden. We came and played with Quincy and got to see fun things in Tucson for a week. Britton, Conway and Elle stayed home for school and work, Britton took a few afternoons off and Mom and Dad helped the other days. The boys and drove down Monday Spetmeber 17th, and got to stay in Koriel and Katelyn's new home. Ryker broke in baby's crib.
One day we went and spent the morning with Great Grandma Christensen, MoMo and played at her house. then got to go to a splash park with Quincy and play around her neighborhood. One night Koriel and Katelyn went on a date and we went and swam at Aunt Stacey's and Uncle Aaron's with Quincy. I even braved it went the grocery store with 3 under 3 a couple times too. My highlights were eating Eegee's everyday and painting Quincy's nails! She sure is a sweet girl and she is going to be a great big sister. On our last night Uncle Koriel as taken back when we said we were leaving the next morning, it was the sweetest compliment that he was not read for us to leave, true he was at work most the time, but I am sure Louis was ready to have some peace and quiet after having two rowdy boys around all day.

Unfortunately Baby Elden did not come while we were there but he had his birthday  the next week September 27th, and we are so glad he made it here safe and sound! Can't wait to meet him for his baby blessing in November.

School 2018

August 16th, 2018

Kindergartener! Elle's started school, she was so beyond exctied and ready! But as we approached the first and I kept drilling her with asking if she was ready for this or that she began to second guess herself, "Mom, should I not be ready?" My heart broke, i told her i knew she was so ready and would do amazing things! The next morning the only one who cried was Mama

3rd Grader, Middle Team. This kid was more nervous about this year then the last couple not sure what would be expected of him in middle team. But with Mrs. Torres and Mr.s Lee I assure him he would be in great hands and it was still all the same kids. ( i love our small school and that he can have such great friends so close)

The best thing about this year by far is that they get to be together! They will see eachother at 1st recess and all whole school assemblies and activities.

The little boys miss them just as much as me, but we sure do enjoy hearing about all the great things they are learning when they get home. School is the best!

Conway got to jump start into scouting with Day camp then loved going to activities.

We helped with the YSA lake trip that my parents hosted, went the night before with the boat and camped at Abiqui so that the YSA could head straight to the lake and we would have it all set up for them
