What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas

Not really but we did take advantage of Britton';s 7 week work assignement in Vegas to enjoy a mostly free vacation., the best week for our schedule was the 3 days before the first day of school, so we threw caution to the wind and went on our last fling of the summer
Britton racked enough points flying back and forth from Las Vegas in July that we all got to fly for free

Britton got the easy row for sure.

and this girl was not the problem in my row. Ryker did not sleep on the flight and it was not easy keeping him happy, grateful the flight was not any longer

Landed late Sunday night. Kids thought the mini van was the coolest, to different sky lights and lots of cool features.

The Lambson train everyone had a bag to carry and pull.

Britton went to work early Monday, and we got to explore our Luxor hotel

the Luxor is the location of this show on the strip

That night for dinner we went to a Hard Rock Cafe, Wyatt appreciates a good restaurant experience and was so cute when Dad took Ryker out so the rest of us could finish our meal, Wyatt's comment, "That's better, now we can enjoy our dinner. " LOL

A huge blessing Tuesday Britton, didn't have to go to the testing sight and was able to stay with us at the hotel while he worked remotely for a few hours.

We surprised the kids with a fun aquarium visit, got to see some cool sharks and other fun exhibits

The food court lunch. Part of our aquarium package was the amazing pool at the Mandalay Bay hotel, amazing wave pool, lazy river and great kid section Ryker loved. We spent the rest of the day there, Britton was the only one to get sunburned.

Sure do have fun with these party people
Conway edited this photo of them at the hotel waiting to check out

Headed home Wednesday

Pretty sure they hung a sign that said "no climbing in this window" after we left, little monkeys.

Made it back to NM at 8pm this picture is a good representation of how the flight went of my struggle trying to keep Ryker happy and still had to drive home but it was all worth it for one last summer fling thank goodness the first day of school is only a half day.

Summer Fun

End of July I got to go help out in the kitchen for girls camp!

First time girls camp had been able to use camp Gorham. I don't think I have mentioned yet that i have a new calling in the ward as the first councilor in the YW, Britton was the first councilor in the YM for a few months and was released and replaced with my Dad this month. a having a really kitchen and showers  and facilities it was amazing definitely acted like an old person and kept saying "back in my day we rubbed to sticks together.... and did not get to have all these amenities"

While I was at camp for one night Britton's got everything packed an ready so we could head to Ramah for a Lambson family reunion and pioneer day. Half of the group all camped up on the Mesa for 2 days and we were able to take some great family pictures have a July monsoon swept through and soaked everything, all of us scrambling in our tents trying to look presentable again will be a memorable part of the photo shoot. The most memorable part of the photo shoot came when Dane stared downloading and editing the photos after we all left and we got see Seth and Ashlee's pregnancy announcement! Pretty tricky you guys.

A great new tradition we are hoping to to recreate every year is a mountain bike race that Koriel designed around the Mesa and back into town. this year only Britton, Koriel and Corinne participated but we are all hoping to get ready for the next one.

The next weekend the Britton and Conway went Backpaking for 4 dyas with Grandpa adn Uncle Westley in CO for a fishing trip with friends, they hiked 15 miles in and out and lived off of fish. Conway loved ever minute of it and can't wait to go backpacking again with his Dad.

Los alamos Triathalon with the AZ Lambsons

Koriel and Britton signed up for the sprint triathalon in Los Alamos, Katelyn and I had attempted training for it as well but did not make it happen. So I had Conway and Elle sign up for the kid race, the did 1/4 run 1/2 mile bike and a 50 m swim. they both killed it! it was so fun watching them all race.

All the Christensen's came to cheer eveyone one. Macey is just he cutest, her outfit it is one Conway picked out for her since they share the same birthday he wanted her to have a gift just from him.

Showed them our awesome Nature center and went to el Parasol for lunch while we were in Los Alamos

Excited we get to hang out with these Lambsons' and all the others next weekend for Pioneer Days in Ramah

July 4th week

Our favorite Kodras came to NM for the week.
We played at the pool, lots of laughs swimming together
Those old enough went to ToyStory 4. I loved it and it was fun to each get our own icee
The next day was the 4th of July did the traditional parade and carnival and BBQ at Mom and Dads. Rode our bikes to Overlook for a good view of the fireworks, but didn't get any pictures there in the dark. Elle and Conway rode their own bikes and got lost in the crowd riding home, luckily the spotted Uncle Westley and were able to follow him home.
Britton did a super awesome flag ceremony with the kids on our personal flag pole, going to make this a tradition

cant BBQ at Grandma and Grandpa's without hot tubing and splashing.

Family purchased firework show, boys made a trip to the fire work hut and put on a good show. shooting tanks at the audience, and scarying the kids back into the house

Friday night Grandma and Grandpa babysat and we all went to dinner and bowling. Always love a night out but with these people is MY FAVORITE!
Let's just say none of us are ready to join a bowling league.
Saturday we relived an activty we did in 2012 when Conway was the only grandchild. We drove to Santa fe and caught the Roadrunner train to ABQ. this time we had the Dad's drive the cars to the train depot. We did lunch at Tucanos, which Conway, and Wyatt loved! Then we used the cars to head to the Zoo. The return trip on the train was to late for our crew so it helped with have the vehicls to get home in the afternoon.
The train ride was so much fun, we did lots of seat hopping and would you rather game.
It was a hot day at the zoo so i think everyone's favorite part was the ice cream treat we got for a snack

The next day was the most special, with Macey Graces blessing Sunday at church. She is the most beautiful girl and we can not remember life with out her. She got to the wear the same blessing dress as her big sisters, made from their Mama's wedding dress it is stunning!

Loved all being together, the Kodras are amazing! It was their farewell visit to the Ridgecrest house since Mom and Dad are playing on moving in August. so many great memories in this home.
