Los Alamos 39th Annual Triathalon

We survived! It was pretty fun, not the funniest thing, but not the worst thing I have ever done. Could not have done it without my Mom! Thanks for watching the kids all morning, and during trainings. Thanks Britton for keeping my bike tuned up, and making me train, thanks Dad for beating me and making me keep moving during the race. I came way with lots of things to improve on for our Lake Powell Triathalon in October.

Doesn't he look awesome! :) Final Sprint! Love the muscles

Am I now a triathaloner for life? I don't know, still thinking about it. But if fun people keep making me sign up I will probably keep doing it. What  do you say? 40th Annunal Los Alamos Triathalon next year, you in? Let's make it a party. Calling out Danielle, Anton, Westley, Stasia, Lacey, Chandler, Koriel. Let's do it.

Grand Trip

We went to the Grand Canyon, Petrified Forrest, Meteor Crater.
It was an awesome trip, such beautiful and neat places to see.

We loved spending the week with Uncle Koriel, Meme, Grandpa, Aunt Maressa, Uncle Nate, Benjamin and Sarah.
Little leader. Conway made us play follow the leader a lot as we hiked and walked around each park.

The adventurous crew went early to see the sunrise. Me and the kids slept in, but we are grateful for the pictures they got. Britton and Koriel did a descending hike before we got there that morning too . They loved it and are ready to hike to the bottom next time. Thinking about going when the kids are all grown into good enough hikers to carry their own weight. :)

There was a nice rain/hailstorm right when were wrapping up at the Grand Canyon. We only got a little wet. The great house we all got to stay in together was perfect for games and movies. It was an awesome vacation with the Lambsons, so glad we got to go! Thanks for organizing it Meme! Love

Summer LOVIN'

4th of July, Frisco CO.

It was Britton's dream vacation, biking everyday, everywhere: mountain trails, lake views, and lots of great biking paths.

And lots of fireworks, games and fun for the rest of us too.

Conway wishes we lived there permanently and was less then pleased when we had to come back home and it was just boring old Mom and Dad in the house. No more awesome Uncles, Aunts to play with.

He was asking for Uncle Westley, Aunt Stasia, Uncle Anton, Aunt Nano, Mike, Katie, Jacob, Amiee and Aaron to come play for days after we got back.

Seriously one of my favorite pictures! Elle and Uncle Westley parading it up!

Pool

Conway did swimming lessons this summer.
 Level 1: Failed.

Not really into putting his head under the water, on purpose. Got better about not freaking out if it accidentally happened, and really good at kicking.

Elle and I got to be pool bums, and enjoyed sitting by the pool. She loves the water and being outside with everyone to talk to her.

Playing in the pool at our house, too rainy to go the real pool. I promise it was fun.

Powell

Fishing with Grandpa.

Red jetski ran great! So gald we got a good week out of it before we have to sell it. Any one interested in buying it? We are upgrading and hoping to save up for two! It's true we are addicted.

Conway loves the houseboat and wishes we could live there forever. Uncle Anton accidently dumped him in the lake, but he was very brave and loved driving the Jetski with his Dad anytime. He also became a tubing fool this year. Next year skiing? ok Knee boarding. :) it was great to be with all the family the first part of the week. He loved having the Gratz boys to play with the second half of the week. When we got home he was playing "lake powell" for days. He was "catching stripers", "tubing", and loved swimming at the pool when he got back.

Awesome sand castle Conway and Dad built together.
Elle's first time at the lake! She did great loved the water and learned to crawl on the boat.
I tubed! Why? I don't know but it was fun. Also got up on the skiis. Mother of two and skiing!
