Christmas break 2016

We started off with a little Christensen Christmas celebration on the 23rd. where the kids got to go on a scavenger hunt to find a trampoline! They have jumped on it every day since, no matter the temperture. It has a pretty good pop to it, but it did not take them long for all of them to get the hang of it.

Conway got a marble race and lots of great books, Elle got princess dressups and makeup, Wyatt got a remote control fire truck. Briton and I got things off our wish lists and my brother got me a massage at my favorite spa! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa you spoil us!

Christmas Eve we made it to Ramah. We had a Mexican Feista at Aunt Ashlee's and Uncle Seth's then the kids all acted out the nativity and opened Christmas Pajamas. Conway had a weird stomach thing and threw up during the nativity but no one else got sick and he felt fine the rest of the week! Thank goodness, a Christmas miracle.
Wyatt got a new train set and his own Legos, and cars. Conway got 2 R/C cars and some more legos and toys.
Elle got a scooter, and lots of fun doll toys

Christmas Morning we woke up early! I am the always the one that is so excited and ends up walking up everyone else. We opened presents with Nana, Mimi, and Grandpa ate breakfast then went to church.
That afternoon we had a delicious Turkey Dinner and all the family came over and we opened more presents. Conway said it was so fun to have so many present times, he loved opening something every few hours.
The day after Christmas we drove into Gallup to visit with Granma Lambson in her new home there, it was great to see her and we ran into these boys there too!

Cousins just had a new Elementary built for Ramah and we loved trying out the fun playground equipement! they got some cool things to play with, we are glad we get to try it whenever we come visit.
Nana got snow boots for her dog, he did not like them very much. They always have to get a ride in, not matter the temperature
Child sign post Britton and I made for Mom and Dad

Tuesday Britton helped his parents with some big projects around the house, and on Wednesday we got to spend time with extended family and butcher a whole beef and 1/2. It was fun to spend that quality time with family swapping stories and memories, I really loved it evne though it was all over raw meat. ;)

The rest of winter break we got to rest and play at home, we had one snowish day that Dad got a 2 hour delay from work  Crafting Movies and snuggles

One day we went ice skating with Uncle Cooper while Wyatt hung out with Grandma and Grandpa.
Britton was on a temple trip. the kids did so well and is was so much fun, we tried it again with Dad and for some reason they were a lot more whiny, but i love our outdoor rink, it is my one of my favorite holiday traditions. But I am glad we did not sign up for skating lessons after the first experience, i don't think they are in love with it as much as I am.

Hope you all had a great holiday, stuffed with fun and love like Wyatt eating Fudge
yay, he can climb now...

Las Cruces

We have been able to see our Las Cruces Lambsons every month since August, and we have loved it.

We got to spend one more weekend with them for Eli's graduation! It was so awesome to see him walk across that stage, what an accomplishment. It has been so inspiritional to watch him finish. You are amazing Eli! Keep it up and good luck with the job hunt ahead.

We made a banner and the kids held up these shiny stars as we cheered for Eli.

Sara and Eli were so awesome and watched our littles so we could go watch the Aggies beat the Lobos. It was so much fun to be in the Pan Am again, we spent so many hours there in our college days going to all the different sporting events. We miss living in Las Cruces just for that, if we leaved in a college town we agree we would be season pass holders. Maybe it is a good thing we never will save us some $$$. :)

Got to go to Church with the everyone and caugh this cut little series, Wyatt was so proud of himself for climbing into the little class chair he was clapping for himself.

Oh he is the cutest little guy. Conway and Elle easily admit that he is their favorite. Britton has just become Wyatt's favorite person, Mom is a nobody now and we have started the crying sobs by the door when Dad leaves, but the squeals of joy when he returns are pretty great.

Thanksgiving week was packed!

We started off the week driving to Tucson for Britton and family to ride in the Tour de Tucson. Britton and Koriel got a great Gold finish time in 6 hours! tThey wore their matchign jersery's and had to fight the wind more then they wanted to, they were champs. but I am not going to lie, i am so grateful he is done training for that! We played with our favorite little June bug and big Rig. So excited for their new house and can't wait to stay with them the next time we come.

After the race we drove to Phoenix to get on a plane with Grandma and Grandpa to fly to Seattle, WA. Everyone did great on the flights, so much easier having more adults then kids. :)

Then we drove the  3 hours to Richland to see this girl!

Can not even begin to tell you how much we love this girl and her little bother Reeser! We had so much fun playing with them for a week!
Visit to Costco, it is the only one in the area and it is always crazy busy, did not disappoint their were so many people there. Love the giant bear though.

We went to the movies, the whole family went to Moana, we liked it a lot, but the babies were not quite big enough for the theater. Conway and Elle went on a date with their Dad to trolls and loved that one too.

We shopped, played, ate lots of yummy food. Went to the best river park! we loved their light displays and zip lines. Uncle Cooper surprised us a day earlier then planned so then we got to spend more time with him!

One of the best surprises when Maggie and Nano took us all to their indoor Merrygo around! It was so beautiful, and they had a ring you could grab as you go around to win prizes, Conway won a free ride!
Went crazy black Friday shopping with these 2! It was so much fun.

Then we had to fly back home! Why do the Kodra's and us live so far apart. I hate it!

Wyatt loved riding on Grandpa's suit case and would nto be transported any other way in the airport

To end the week we drove back home through Safford to check on Grandpa Bingham. He had a bad fall after Halloween and has been slowly on the mend after a long hospital stay. So glad we got to see him in such good spirits. He is one tough Man.
Playing out side in the wonderful AZ temperatures before we headed back to chilly NM.

It was such a great family filled week, and made us so grateful for the many blessings in our lives, grateful that we could travel and be with them and make so many more fun memories.
