Wyatt 3

Wyatt's Birthday was on a Sunday this year adn as ususal Memorial Weekend, we spent the first part of the weekend in Durango, Colorado for Britton's 2nd year of the Iron Horse Classic, after the race Saturday we drove to Ramah to spend Wyatt's Birthday with more family

We got to eat yummy ice cream and Wyatt got some fun presents, new clothes, books and toys

Back in White Rock we opened a few more presents with Grandma and Grandpa Christensen and Uncle Cooper. Wyatt got a new big wheel trike, which he is yet to really enjoy, but hopefully soon..

Britton found a fun hotel room with 2 rooms attached so we got to meet Koriel, Katelyn, and Quincy their Friday night 5/25 made a grilled steak dinner at the hotel and played in the pool.

The next morning, Britton and Koriel left for the race. Katelyn left to get ahead of the race and be able to bring the boys back to Durango after they finished in Silverton

The kids and I  were about to head to the pool again after breakfast when Britton called to say he needed some tools in the back of the suburban. Loaded up all 5 kids and meet him on the side of the road. An hour later we made it back to the hotel swam, packed up and played at the park until the racers returned. Poor Britton has had a rough start to this race both years now.

 
we love this giant park in Durango! It is always a blast, it was a nice cloudy and coller day for us to play.
 The bad part about this weekend was the kids were so sick with colds and ear infections, Wyatt would gag from coughing so hard and throw up, it was a rough time sleeping and we ended up coming home a day early from Ramah so we could have our own washing machine and beds.
