50 DAYS

Can you believe there are only about 50 days left until Britton and Jenny will no longer just be Britton and Jenny?

The time seems to be going fast.

7 days of classes,
1 week of finals.
1 move to Los Alamos for the summer.
Last Dr. appointment in Las Cruces, transfering to Los Alamos Medical in May.

Everything seems to be going well, baby is growing, at least that is what the large watermelon infront of me would indicate.

WAC Champion

Britton and I won a free trip for two. All expenses paid to the WAC basketball tournament last weekend in Reno, NV! It was a blast!

We went to all the games and enjoyed the new town and free vacation

We went to the National Car museum. It was really neat to see all the old cars, Britton loved it!

This was him driving, and old Ford model T.

If you did not know the NMSU Aggies took the tournament after some really close down to the buzzer games.

Britton stormed the court! Can you find him? =)

It is just exciting to think that in about 100 days Britton and I will be parents! Wow!

We are just counting down with school and work. So many exciting changes ahead.

A boy, a son, a nephew, a grandson, a greatgrandson

This is supposed to be his boy parts... I can not really see it anymore. When i was in the office with the help of the technician it was a lot easier! He is definitely a boy. =)

During the ultrasound he kept folding in half and putting his long legs above his head. His head is on the bottom left and that is his knee on his nose. Very entertaining.

His cute foot! The big toe is towards the bottom kind of sticking to the side. It reminds me of Britton's feet, LONG!

His face on the bottom left again and his arm or leg again above his head.

Ultrasounds are the best! We are so excited to have a baby boy! I want to go buy a football or something blue. Hhhmmm... what to get? what to get?

The Best Day.

This is our new addition. In this picture the head profile is on the right and you can see the spin and heart on the left. (the white line is the spine, the dark spot is the heart) =)

Another of the profile. Britton or Jenny nose?

This is supposedly the face. I can not tell any features. I think the fist is the little piece on the top.

The technician thought maybe possibly it is a boy. She did not show enough confidence for me to run out and buy cute blue clothes. It could have just been the umbilical cord, the baby would not hold still long enough for them to be sure. We have the option to pay for another ultrasound which I want to do, probably in a few weeks. Overall everything was great, all the necessary body parts, two arms, two legs, heart, kidneys, brain, spine. This was definitely my favorite day of being pregnant so far! Made everything so real, there is really going to be a baby in 4 months.

Thank you for all of the love, support, and shared excitement. Britton and I are so grateful!

1st Dr. Appointment

Dec. 28th was our first doctors appointment, and it also happened to be Britton's birthday. His favorite birthday present that day was hearing the babies heart beat. Watching him light up was my favorite part.

With the teasing and taunting of twins by family, the Dr. is pretty sure there is only one baby. Britton is still holding out though, we could not keep the heart beat for very long the baby kept moving and the Dr. would have to chase it all over the place. Britton thinks that there was just two babies one on each side.

The first ultra sound is Jan. 26th, we will give you the next update after that.

The Big News

I always told myself that I would not blog until I had something to blog about.

Well that time is finally here.

Much to Britton's excitment and joy we are having a baby. Britton is always up for an adventure and thought having a baby would be great ever since we got married! Me on the other hand, I do not like change and I am easily scared/freaked out. Having a baby freaked me out! But with much patience and understanding from Britton I finally agreed after 3 years of marriage. Lucky for him, he did not have to wait long. We will be expecting Baby Lambson early June, and we are very happy.
