Powell3

We got our Lake Powell fix for 2014.
Conway and Elle loved feeding the ducks off the back of the house boat. It did not take the ducks long to figure out where the snack house was and they would come 3 times a day bringing more friends with them every time.
And you will be happy to know that the jetski ran awesome and Britton will probably never part with it. Just got to start shopping for a second to play with for next year.
We loved playing with Juniper and Maggie! They are the sweetest girls, and Conway was a great big brother to them all.
Then on Elle's birthday we ran a triathlon with Chandler, Lacey, and my Dad. It was a good race, everyone was happy with the experience, more or less. :) I am mostly happy I don't have to feel guilty about not training for awhile. I like triathlons and it is a good way to change up your exercising, but I am ready for a break. I am promising myself not to let my bike, shoes, and goggles get dusty.
Britton got 2nd place for his age group! He killed it,
More on Elle's birthday tomorrow.

Makeover

We got to make over Elle's room this month! We love love love it!

Before picture just incase you forgot how "peachy" it was before.

AFTER!

Britton did such a great job with the stripped wall.

And I love the way the dresser turned out!

Her changing table has turned into a book/toy shelf.

Elle loves her room and is realyl starting to play now a days. She is always putting all her dolls and animals to sleep, tucked in with blankets.

It gave me the itch to change other rooms in our house. Kitchen next.... :) Trying some new chalk paint on the dinning set. So excited.

Dreams come true

Britton and I had children for 2 important reasons.

#1 I wanted hair to braid and do different everyday.

#2 Britton wanted someone to play old video games with.

We are seeing glimpses of our life long dreams coming! Yea for kids! :)

40th Annual Los Alamos Triathalon

Britton, Dad and i participated in the Los Alamos triathalon. We all got better times then last year, with our new bikes and new running shoes Britton and I were hpoing for better times. I keep telling myself at least I tried hoping to get better times with the race in October (got keep training!). These are friends that were in the race. There were 14 other ward members, so that was fun to hear all the support and cheers from all  of their family  members all along the race.
My sweet friend Ann was such a champ for her first triathalon she smoked it! She was so good she even came back and ran with me up the last hill! Thanks Ann! You are the best. Can not wait to hear how you do in the Tour de Tucson this year.

Again, will i do a triathlon next year? Only if really fun people make me sign up. :)

Family Ice bucket Challenge

I was challenged by my Aunt Debbie for the ALS ice bucket challenge. The following craziness is  the result.

We had fun participating it is always good to rally with a worthy cause. And it always easier to dump a bucket of ice on your head when you know you can hop in the hot tub after

Elle only post!

Elle wore a dress I wore as a little girl to churchyesterday! She is pretty adorable.
I was about 5 months younger then Elle in our picture twins, and Elle is missing the frilly little blouse under neath.

One of our favorite things she does is the tickle bug. she put her little fingers up near her face and wiggles them at you until she starts giggling. She is a cute little bug.

She is talking and tries new words all the time. Jet ski, pool, back (back floating in the pool), Stop. Dway (Conway) if you are not listening carefully it might sound like Dad. :)

Elle is sleeping in a real bed and doing pretty well, at least it is easier just to lay by her when she does get restless in the middle of night for Mom and Dad.

She is as tall as Conway at the same age about 35 Inches! We could have a little 6ft Volleyball star on our hands.

Now on to potty training and loosing the binki and she will be all grown up! :)
