The Lambson 5!

Yep! We are pretty taken with Mr. Wyatt.

Trying to still figure out how to be out numbered

Wyatt Eugene Lambson

Born May 27th, 2015 8:14 am
10lbs. 5.5 oz
19.5 inches
Gray eyes
Black hair.
He is here one day after his due date and on Great Grandpa Eugene Bingham's birthday.

Another great fast adventure story.
We had a new midwife for this pregnancy and loved her so much. She was not there for Conway and Elle but she took Elle's labor and delivery very seriously and gave me her personal cell phone the first week of May if I felt anything to call her first. So we were all anxious waiting these last two weeks. As soon as contractions would start it would not take long. (but in the back of my head I am trying  to remember every baby is different and this could be a totally different story more mind games)

Saturday May 23rd. Was our Niece's baptism in Ramah and a friends wedding in Santa Fe. We were not able to make it to the baptism just a little to far for the unknown still. But we did venture to the wedding in Santa Fe. At the same time Elle got sick with a gross stomach bug, throwing up all over grandma at home.

SundayElle stays home sick from church.

Monday Britton gets the bug, suffers through  and we plant our garden with the help of family. Monday night Conway gets sick.

Tuesday Dr. Appointment. dilated to a 4, 85 % effaced, baby position 0. Blood pressure high. Put on bed rest for the night. Plan to induce Wednesday if labor does not start on its own.

Wednesday, sleep off and on starting to feel crumpy I think I am getting the stomach bug everyone else has. (It can not be labor I have been waiting for weeks for labor). Wake up at 6:15 with a cramp. Jump in shower to try and relax. 6:40 cramp does not go away. Call midwife, hang up with midwife. Cramp stops contractions start. Tell Britton we need to go to the Hospital, brand new news to him. Head to hospital get there 7:20 am. Nurse staff switching from day to night. They are being very helpful though since  they know my history. Get checked by nurse dilated to a 10 ready to go. 7:40 Dr. Bridge comes because my midwife Nicole is nervous she is not going to get there fast enough. (Nicole was so thoughtful and kind to call Dr bridge and she was so awesome to come, her hair was still wet from her shower!) My mom got there about  the same time.  Transition happens and I get ready to push. Nicole walks in at 7:50. She tells me I am in charge. I am just crying about the pain and telling everyone how lost I am. (Yea third child and still have no idea how to do labor). Start doing some pushing. Talk about breaking my water. Break my water 8:13 Wyatt born at 8:14 am
Hold him and realize he is no average size baby. I lose a lot if blood and come close to passing out. Everything gets cleaned up and Wyatt is weighed! We are all pretty shocked, 10 lbs is huge!
I get an IV the liquids start feeling better by the afternoon. Stay in the hospital two nights and get lots of good results for Wyatt's tests. Big babies have to have glucose tests and then the usual oxygen, and jaundice tests. His oxygen was always low 90's and they want 95 for us to check out, prayers were answered and we got a 95 when we were getting ready to check out Friday,
this was his first meeting, he has a much better attitude now.

First sibling pictures, these faces are priceless. They wore their shirts so Wyatt would know who they were.

Going Home outfit. We love our newest little Lambson baby.

Mind Games

Just need one more outlet to vent. :) thanks to everyone who has listened so far. ;)

Still waiting for baby Wyatt. And it is starting to get to my head.

The 1st of may my dr checked to see what my body was up to, I was curious. Dialiated to a 2, 50% effaced and baby was at a -1. Wow I thought that means something. maybe we won't have to wait until May 26th to meet this little guy. I was at a 2 for 2 weeks with Elle so I knew it was not happening that day but I started really listening to my body. ( that gets exhausting really quick. What does that pain mean? Was that a pain?) Not to mention everyone around me gets pumped too.

Following week we check again. Again just curious how my body works. Dialiated to a 3, 75% effaced. Wow ok here it is may 8th and my body is pretty open it might just take some contractions and we could have this baby any day.

12 days later, a handful of contractions and no baby.

The part that gets exhausting is the every  little battle about every little decision. Do I start this project  if I can't finish it before labor starts? Does Britton go to father and Sons campout if cell phone service is spotty? Should I eat this in case labor does start do I want this in my system?

one of the perks is I have been super on top of my chores all month. Load dishes after each use, start the dishwasher as soon as possible in case I don't get a chance to start it later. You know labor might  start at any moment. Laundry always get folded and put away quickly just in case...

Britton has been very patient and does not hold my crazy hormone worries against me. ;) but I am sure he is just exhausted of it all as I am. I am thinking if we do this again I am never getting checked and just planning my life around the due date. Doing everything I want to up until that point. ;) no need to get antsy.

Just wish Wyatt would tell me what day he was coming, what ever day he wants,
I would put it on the calendar, put an alarm reminder in my phone and we could all move on. I could go to Conway's last two soccer games, bookclub, my friends wedding, etc.etc and there would be no need to worry about the what ifs.

Conway and Elle are Champs and have been lots of fun lately. Seriously I really love 2 year olds. They play really well when they want to, mostly when it just the 3 of us and Mom is just not as much fun. They are both really excited for the pool to open. And check every time we drive by of the gate is unlocked.

Elle has taken to calling everyone Hunny since I call her hunny on occasion. It is pretty adorable to hear. " ok mom, hunny" " Conway  hunny". She loves to take care of her baby dolls and is always giving everyone in the house check ups. My midwife lets Elle be very hands on at my appointments. She LOVES it. She is actually pretty good at finding  the babies heart beat all by herself.

Conway has taken off with letters in preschool can almost write his name with a little bit of direction he has got it. Finishing  up his soccer season, which has been more fun and successful then last year. Just need to learn how to tie his shoes this summer and we are set.

Thanks for listening. Dr appointment  this afternoon. See how it goes.

Baby Refreshing

I am get all prepped for baby by reviewing all may favorite labor examples.

  • Watched the Office, where Jim and Pam have a baby. Cried, it was great.
  • Reread Twlight where Bella and Edward have a baby. Just as good as the last 4 times I read it. :
  • Reviewed the chapter in What to expect when expecting. Took some notes

Baby Name is decided! I am committing to Wyatt!!! Yay! we have been using it in our house the last couple weeks and the kids are hooked. It is really the perfect name and fits in great with our family.

Also got all the baby things washed and put away in his dresser. Baby nook is organized and ready to go. Carseat is out of the attic and clean. Check list is pretty much complete. Now to just keep it all looking good until Wyatt decides to come.

Wyatt's nook in mine and Britton's bedroom.  All of the red is from my nursery as a baby. My Grandma Christensen made the Lamb quilt which I LOVE! (I had searched for it when i was pregnant with Conway but did not find it until last fall in my parents attic!, so now my third baby Lambson gets to use it as his own. Destiny.) My mom crocheted the little red afghan in the cradle. And I am very excited to get some more use out of my awesome changing table and cradle Britton made me. The little lamb on top of the changing table Aunt Katelyn created for baby boy. He is so snugglie and cute!

Wyatt;s dresser holding down a spot for him in Conway's room until we are ready to set up the big crib later this summer.

I am hoping the 3rd time is the charm and I will actually know what is happening when it is happening. :) no pitocin and no scary stories of barely making it to the hospital. Those are my 2 goals. Prechecked into the hospital so when ever it happens it happens, between now and the end of the month.

Needless to say we are all just riding the baby train, waiting for the Wyatt train stop.

Elle's playtime while I mopped this weekend. She made a train to take all of her baby dolls on a trip. She even has a new baby doll named Wyatt.

So happy I am the Mother of these two and excited to try and keep it together with a 3rd Lambson love. :)

Texas Easter

We got to travel to Arlington and Lufkin for the Easter weekend. It was really nice to see some of our favorite little people  and the big people  that come with them. ;)

Baby Shane is pretty perfect. It was so fun to meet him he is just so precious.

Baby Brooklyn! We love her. She was a little overwhlemed with the noise small people but she was so fun to hold and snuggle.

Easter morning it was raining in Lufkin  so the Easter  Bunny hid the eggs in Uncle Wesltey's  living room. He also left some fun lite toys I our easter baskets to play with while  we listened to conference.

Between sessions  Saturday  we played Frisbee golf and at the park. I was by far the best score every hole i always got the most points. ;)Lufkin has some really fun parks, we go to a different one every day we are there.
Ready set race! We love playing with Uncle Westley he is pretty fun.

Baby Names

No name yet.

31 weeks along.

We have been having a hard time. This was the same time we announced Elle's name and Conway's name we had before the ultrasound. and I just keep feeling like there is a name out there that I have not heard yet that I will fall in love with and be completely sold like I was with Conway and Ellese.

It is a challenge but if you have any great names that fit these rules let me know, or if it is just so amazing and brakes a few rules that is ok too.

1. Does Not start with a letter we all ready have. B, J, C, or E

2. Does Not end in N, don't like the way most of those names sound with Lambso"N"

3. Has a double constant, the rest of us have one, so might as well keep it going. (Conway's is his middle name)

4. A "cowboy" western style name...  With a big brother named Conway it has got to "match" :)

See, I know I am crazy. But I have loved the lists and ideas I have gotten from Grandmas, Aunts, and friends so far. It has been fun to explore all the options.

Wyatt is our number one contender so far, so whenever I propose a new name to Britton his response has been "not over Wyatt" but he says he is still open to more ideas too. ;) It is not just me.

Hope you are all enjoying your Friday!
Love these two crazies.

Dining table

I would like to dedicate this post to my cousin Amy. She inspired me to jump in to this project that I had been stalling on.
Before picture:

Little helper love that it does not stink and easily washes off until you wax so it was a easy stress free project for me being pregnant and did not have to worry about my little helper either. Listened  to some Backstreet Boys while we worked
He said I had good jams. ;) see if he agrees in 10 years.

Deciding for the finish on the top of the table. Black "granite" top with a straight dark wax finish. Far left on the example. 8 had thought I wanted to do a lime oak finish wi th so cream streaks in it. But there was not grain on my super smooth table. And since this was a no sanding project I went with just a solid finish.
Chairs painted on coco before the dark wax. The dark wax brought a lot more green out then I was expecting but they turned into a nice rich finish that I love!

The table legs half waxed and one chair waxed. Single coat dark wax was all I need the more rub a polishing the shinier the finish.

Table painted in charcoal before wax finish.

To be completely  honest I am not in love. It is more unique and I enjoy the originality of it now but I feel like it needs some kind of feminine  touch  to light it up. Considering a light lacey stencil or maybe scratching in some "grain"...

Special thanks to Mom and Dad Britton Conway and Elle in the end it was a great team effort to finish "my " project. Love ya!
